Welcome to the world of Cooking, Baking, Frying, Roasting in the Kitchen.
My name is Balazs Albertus. I’m a Hungarian carpenter, blogger, and proud father of two wonderful girls. During the week, I run a carpentry factory. When I finally slow down—on evenings, weekends, or whenever I get a little free time—you’ll usually find me in the kitchen, cooking, experimenting, and enjoying the simple pleasure of good food made indoors.
Cooking has always been more than just making meals for me. It’s how I unwind. How I connect with family and friends. How everyday moments turn into something memorable.
I love hosting small get-togethers at home, where food is the center of everything. No rush. No pressure. Just good flavors, familiar smells, and people around the table who enjoy eating as much as I enjoy cooking.
Over the years, I’ve developed and tested countless recipes. Every dish you’ll find here is based on real experience—recipes I’ve cooked many times, adjusted, refined, and proven to work in a home kitchen. No guesswork. No unnecessary complications.
This website was created to share what I’ve learned:
recipes that actually turn out great,
practical tips for indoor cooking,
and simple ideas that help you feel confident in your own kitchen.
In every recipe, I show the process step by step, in plain language. I focus on techniques that make cooking easier, flavors that feel familiar and comforting, and small details that make a big difference.
You’ll also find recommendations for useful kitchen tools and equipment—nothing fancy, just things that genuinely help and make cooking more enjoyable.
My goal is simple:
to help you cook food that makes people smile and say,
“This is really good. When are we doing this again?”
How can I help you?
